Patricia Randall Obituary

Our beloved Patricia Lee (Dandridge) Randall was born on March 8, 1950, in New Kent, Virginia. Affectionately known as “Teece” and “Pat,” she peacefully departed this earthly life on February 21, 2026, at the age of 75.  Patricia, the oldest of four children, was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie B. and Estelle Dandridge, and her siblings, Russell Dandridge and Sheila Brown.

Patricia lived a faithful life. Accepting Christ at an early age, she joined Second Elam Baptist Church and remained a devoted member until the Lord called her home.

Teece shared life’s goodness with everyone she met and knew, as reflected in her deep love for the arts, music, and poetry. Those who truly knew her understood how dramatic she could become in a moment, leaving an everlasting impression and making you wonder, “Where did that come from?” Her favorite songs to sing were “I Want Jesus to Walk With Me” and “Ave Maria”. She would often sing while pantomiming to the lyrics, as if she were performing on stage before a crowd. The same was true of poetry; she cherished it deeply. Teece’s favorite poem was “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley, which she recited passionately in full.

Patricia’s home, “By the Side of the Road” in Lanexa, VA, was full of love and good cheer. The door was always open, and folks passing by—coming or going—were welcomed like family. No one ever left hungry; Teece would have the pots and pans going in a heartbeat. She loved to cook, and she cooked very well!

The love Patricia showed at home continued to shine as she shared it with fellow residents in the nursing home where she spent her final days. Often, you find her singing her favorite hymns and songs, comforting a resident, and sharing her infectious smile with everyone she met. She will be missed.

Patricia is survived by her three children (her precious jewels), Charles Randall (Ti-Anna), Chandra Jones (Douglas), and Sean Randall (Dana), her sister Betty Carter (Edward); her sister-in-law Joan Dandridge; her aunt, Nora Allen; her grandchildren, Morgan May, Marie May, Douglas Jones Jr., Alica Jones, Raven Randall, Kayla Davis, Dylan Randall, William Randall, and Aiden Randall; her nephew Maurice Carter (Kelly); her nieces, Ashley Brown, Erica Green, and Janae Sanders (Ryan); her great-grandchildren, Dulce Ordaz, Eden Dyre, Douglas Jones III, Marlee Jones, and Coretta Jones; her great-nieces, Britney Collins (Bobby), Mya Jones-Pogreneak (Zack) and Alexis Brown; her great-nephews, Christian Carter and Nicholas Carter; her cousin Sherri Bradby; and her devoted friend Queen Travers.
